The Migration Barrier Removal Project at Peacock Creek and Tan Oak Drive
was completed in the summer of 2003. This project was prioritized under
the Five Counties Migration Barrier Inventory as the 3rd highest priority
project in Del Norte County and the 6th highest priority project within
the 5C program area. Implementation of this project restored access
to approximately 1.3 miles of habitat for Chinook, coho, steelhead, and
cutthroat trout.
