East Branch Road Water Reliability & Hansen Ditch Water Conservation Project

The Five Counties Salmonid Conservation Program (5C) with the Weaverville Community Services District (WCSD) aims to provide a more reliable water source to the residents of East Branch Road and conserve water in East Branch East Weaver Creek to restore salmon habitat by implementing the East Branch Water Reliability and Hansen Ditch Water Conservation Project. This project includes the installation of a 2,000 ft. water main extension up East Branch Road, within WCSD service boundaries, and installation of two fire hydrants that will eliminate surface water diversions year round for several years. This project meets conservation objectives, improves fire flows, reduces landowner maintenance, and makes access to water meters easier.
